Automation (Watch Folder)
Set a watch path so new videos are automatically added to the media library and processed.
Beta Feature
Automation is currently in Beta. Features may be adjusted in future versions.
What Is Automation
The Automation feature continuously monitors a folder you specify. When a new video file is placed in that folder, the system automatically copies it to the media library and starts a subtitle processing task using your current settings.
Ideal for batch-processing large numbers of videos, or for achieving a "drop and process" workflow.
How to Use
- Switch to the "Automation" tab Switch to the Automation tab at the top of the main interface settings panel.
- Set the watch path Enter the folder path to monitor in the text field, then click "Save Path".
- Configure other tab settings Automation uses the current settings from your other tabs (Speech Recognition, Translation, etc.) to process videos, so make sure they are configured in advance.
- Click "Start Monitoring" Confirm the popup dialog to begin monitoring. A "Monitoring" indicator will appear in the top status bar.
- Drop in videos Place video files into the watch folder, and the system will automatically start processing.
Important Notes
Operations restricted during monitoring
While monitoring is active, all manual write operations in the main interface (import, delete, OCR, translation, etc.) are disabled to avoid conflicts with automatic processing. To perform manual operations, stop monitoring first.
- The watch path must be a valid folder path
- Supported video formats: MP4, MOV, MKV, M4V, WebM
- New videos are copied (not moved) to the media library
- Click "Stop Monitoring" to stop automatic processing at any time
