Not a public release yet. MCP is not included in the public GeekLink installer. There is no public remote endpoint or one-click setup. Registering interest is free; access and timing are not guaranteed. Do not purchase a plan solely for this unreleased integration.

Also available: import and list local videos, discover capabilities, check task progress and stop a task. The launcher processes library videos missing the requested results, not a selected single video; one heavy processing task runs at a time.
Before you connect.
How can I install GeekLink Subtitle MCP?
Public installation is not available yet. The local STDIO server is configured on our development Mac for Claude Desktop and Codex. Contact support@geeklink.dev to discuss early access; a public installer alone does not provide MCP.
Does MCP change GeekLink’s paid limits?
No. MCP is another way to operate the app, not a separate credits plan. The current preview requires paid Pro or a valid Local Pass; trials do not unlock MCP. Existing export and quota checks still apply. Cloud translation uses existing GeekLink credits, which are not included with Local Pass.
Do my videos and subtitles stay local?
OCR and transcription run on your computer. Tool text and requested video-frame images are shared with your connected assistant, whose own data policies apply. Cloud translation sends subtitle text to the selected service. This is not an entirely offline workflow.
Can ChatGPT web connect to this page?
No. This is an information page, not a remote MCP endpoint. The preview uses a local STDIO connection; a public remote connection for ChatGPT web is not available.
