Subtitle Editor

The primary workspace for proofreading subtitle text, adjusting timecodes, and previewing video output.

Overview

The batch subtitle editor is your main workspace for proofreading and editing subtitles. Here you can edit subtitle text line by line, adjust timecodes, preview the video with subtitles, search and replace, and perform batch operations.

Opening the Editor

In the media library, click the "Open Subtitle Editor" button on the right side of a video entry, or click the link in the notification after a task completes.

Interface Layout

The editor interface is divided into three main areas:

Subtitle Display Modes

The "Subtitle Mode" dropdown in the top toolbar lets you switch subtitle display:

Editing Subtitles

Click directly on any subtitle text to edit it. Changes are saved automatically. You can also click "Save Subtitle File" to trigger a manual save.

Tip Clicking a subtitle entry automatically seeks the video to the corresponding timecode, making it easy to verify that the timing is accurate.

Searching Subtitles

Click the search icon or press Cmd + F to open the search box. Enter a keyword to highlight matching subtitle entries. Use / or Enter / Shift + Enter to jump between matches.

Multi-Select Operations

Hold Shift or Cmd and click subtitle entries to multi-select. Once selected, you can:

Video Preview Controls

The video player area provides the following controls:

Title Generation

Click "Generate Title" to automatically generate 3 title suggestions based on the subtitle content. You can also use "Generate Titles for All Videos" for batch processing.

Mark as Complete

Each video can be marked as "Complete". Once all videos are marked complete, a "Mark All Complete & Exit" button appears. The marked status affects the reminder logic before export.
