Subtitle drift usually comes from a frame-rate mismatch: the error grows as the video continues. A frame-rate conversion rescales every timestamp; a fixed shift only moves all cues by the same amount.

How to convert subtitle timing between frame rates

  1. Drop in your SRT or VTT subtitle file.
  2. Choose the source frame rate used to time the subtitle and the target frame rate of the video.
  3. Add an optional offset if the converted file still has a small fixed delay, then download SRT or VTT.

What frame rates are supported?

The presets are 23.976, 24, 25, 29.97, and 30 fps, plus a custom value for anything else.

Should I use this or the shifter?
